I’m an out of the closet liberal who ran for congress in a very red ‘hood who has deconstructed from a “Shiny Happy People” confident Evangelical to an evolving normal human being with two adult children, one adult child gone to God, one wife, two dogs and a backyard which serves as a work-alcoholics paradise. And I quit my high paying doctor job. Those are my qualifications.

The extreme right wing edge of the Republican Party has been well documented, humiliated, satirized and yet they rise. Their children hate them and they don’t care. Not my focus. My concern is the rising far-left-wing edge of the Democratic Party.
